Acts 6:4: “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”

The Apostolic priorities were prayer and the ministry of the Word. It would be fair to say that the saints in North America have given themselves to the ministry of the Word, but few can honestly say they have given themselves to prayer. Over the years, many churches have had conferences to teach the Scriptures and even some conferences where the topic has been prayer. This conference is designed not to talk about prayer but to simply pray.
