Acts 6:4: “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”

The Apostolic priorities were prayer and the ministry of the Word. It would be fair to say that the saints in North America have given themselves to the ministry of the Word, but few can honestly say they have given themselves to prayer. [Praise the Lord for every blessed exception]. Over the years, many (New Testament patterned assemblies and Bible-believing, Gospel preaching churches) have had conferences to teach the Scriptures and even some conferences where the topic has been prayer. This conference is designed not to talk about prayer but to simply pray.

During the North American Week of Prayer, we are inviting burdened saints from across the continent to come together to seek the face of God for spiritual revival from the apathy and decline that is so evident among us. Each prayer session will be introduced by a short devotional or exhortation on prayer, and then we will get down to the main business of the conference, that of praying.

Issues on our hearts include revival in assemblies, families, and individuals; a renewed zeal for the Gospel; and a general awakening among the lost. We believe New Testament principles without New Testament power is the cause of our weakness.

Please prayerfully consider joining us.

Psalms 85:6: “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?”
